  • Location and context: country and timezone.
  • Trading background: your self-reported trading experience level.
  • Registration interests: the areas you expressed interest in when signing up (for example Live Trading, Trading Signals, or Learn content).
  • Attribution information: how you heard about TradersGrowth, and any campaign, referral, or affiliate source associated with your registration.
  • Marketing consent: whether you opted in to receive marketing communications.

  • Journal and activity data: trade journal entries and other activity you choose to record within the Platform.
  • Signals or partner applications: information you submit if you apply for Trading Signals access, the Partner Programme, or similar programmes.
  • Any documents you choose to upload, where a feature requires proof of identity or eligibility (once such a feature is active).
  • Payment information, where paid features are available (handled by our payment processor - see Section 5).
  • Messages you send us, for example through support requests.

2. Information Collected Automatically

  • Authentication data: sign-in timestamps and session identifiers, managed through our authentication provider.
  • Product interaction data: pages viewed, features used, and onboarding/tour progress, used to operate and improve the Platform.
  • Cookies and local storage: used to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. See Section 8.
  • Analytics data: aggregated or pseudonymised usage data used to understand how the Platform is used.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and operate your account and Trader Profile.
  • To personalise your Dashboard, recommendations, and the update topics you receive, based on your stated preferences.
  • To communicate with you, including confirmation emails, product updates, and (where you have consented) marketing communications.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of the Platform, including detecting misuse.
  • To measure and improve the Platform, including through aggregated analytics.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where the UK/EU GDPR or a similar law applies to you, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: processing needed to provide the Platform and features you request.
  • Consent: for marketing communications and any optional data collection, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: for security, fraud prevention, and improving the Platform, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose data to comply with the law.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who host, secure, or operate parts of the Platform on our behalf (for example, our database and authentication provider, hosting provider, and email delivery provider).
  • Payment processors, where you use a paid feature.
  • Partners or providers you explicitly choose to engage with (for example, if you click through to a broker or prop firm listed on the Marketplace, that provider's own privacy policy applies to what happens next).
  • Professional advisers, regulators, or authorities where required by law.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections described here.

Our current service providers ("sub-processors") are [OWNER TO CONFIRM: sub-processor list - e.g. hosting, database, authentication, and email providers actually in use].

6. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law, such as [OWNER TO CONFIRM: transfer mechanism - e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses / adequacy decision].

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, plus any additional period required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Specific retention periods are [OWNER TO CONFIRM: exact retention periods by data category]. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 9).

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences (such as onboarding tour progress). We use analytics cookies or similar technology to understand aggregate usage of the Platform. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing (including marketing). You can update most Trader Profile information directly from your Dashboard, or contact us at support@tradersgrowth.com to exercise any of these rights, including full account and data deletion.

10. Marketing Preferences

You can control which update topics you receive from the Personalise Your Experience section of your Dashboard at any time, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect account-essential communications, such as security or confirmation emails.

11. Children

The Platform is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by email or an in-Platform notice) before they take effect.
